When I started in the pension industry it was during a time of "great change" (2006), and I was told there wouldn't be much change after. How wrong they were and something I am now grateful for as it has meant I have gained the technical foundation and preparation to solve complex issues in a fast moving pension environment. Moreover, it has led to understanding the importance of educating and engaging individuals the importance of saving for their future.

Named one of UK’s kindest leaders. I get things done. Started Youth Group to enable millions of young people to access jobs, skills and mentors. We’re a youth technology company on a mission to create 10 million opportunities for young people to move forward. Known as ‘Young Jack’ in my role as the UK's Chief Youth Officer - A public figure that champions the interests of all young people across the country. Growing up in a single-parent household with a mother who was an alcoholic and being from a social mobility background I found it tough growing up. A lot of setbacks and a lot of no’s entering the world of work so this made me decide to do something about it and have committed my twenties to enabling young people to thrive. We do this through a series of youth-first programmes focusing on youth employment, mental health and diversity, which are enabled through successful collaboration between business, Government and education. I have been heartened by the number of business leaders who I’ve spoken to who share the belief in the need to harness the talents of an increasingly young and diverse workforce: a community that has been significantly affected by COVID-19, which has only exacerbated many of the issues they were already confronting, whether that is rising levels of poverty and youth unemployment; isolation and loneliness; or a lack of learning and connection with the world of work. Over the last couple of years I have won a numerous of awards for the work we have done to support young people. 2021
