With over 20 years of experience in the financial services sector, I am an Accredited Professional Pension Trustee and a board level leader with a track record of delivering successful outcomes for clients and stakeholders in both the private and public sectors. I currently serve as the Independent Chair of several pension schemes, boards and committees, including the Scottish Widows Master Trust and the MyCSP Limited board. Previously, I was the CEO of LGPS Central Limited, an asset pool for eight Midlands Local Authority pension schemes, the Executive Director for Regulatory Policy at The Pensions Regulator, and a Partner at Aon. I have expertise in strategy development, change management, board effectiveness, operational governance, regulatory compliance, and sustainable investment strategies, including in alternative asset classes. I am passionate about improving the pension industry and ensuring the best outcomes for members.
When I started in the pension industry it was during a time of "great change" (2006), and I was told there wouldn't be much change after. How wrong they were and something I am now grateful for as it has meant I have gained the technical foundation and preparation to solve complex issues in a fast moving pension environment. Moreover, it has led to understanding the importance of educating and engaging individuals the importance of saving for their future.

I have been honoured to hold the position of Chief Executive Officer of People’s Partnership for the past 12 years, my path has been intertwined with the evolution of our business, guided by a steadfast belief in our vision, purpose and values. At the heart of my professional life is a passion for delivering value and fairness for all. Being instrumental in establishing The People’s Pension, the UK's largest private Master Trust that serves over 6.5 million members with £25bn AuM and a trajectory to be a £100bn scheme in the next 10 years is something I am extremely proud of.
